ITINERARY E – From Paza Catalunya to the mouth of the Tordera river

 

Length: 1.5 kilometres

Description: A walk from the centre of the city along the southern face of Blanes and, finally, to the mouth of the river Tordera.

Points of interest en route: Sa Palomera rock formation, rocks that mark the beginning of the Costa Brava and from which there is a magnificent view of Blanes.
S'Auger Neighborhood, a traditional maritime and fishing village.
Paseo de la Marina y S'Abanell, a walk along the city's southern face.
Nuestra Señora del Vilar, a characteristic grouping of low houses on the way back to the church square.
The mouth of the river Tordera, an interesting animal and plant habitat. The delta of the river separates the Girona and Barcelona provinces.
