ITINERARY D – From calle Ample the Santa Cristina cove
Length: 2.5 kilometres
Description : This route begins at calle Ample, located in the city centre. Then it continues up calle del Raval before arriving at the Santa Bàrbara path. From there, it goes on until the Santa Cristina cove.
Points of interest en route: Cavas Mont-Ferrant, the first Spanish company to produce sparkling wine (cava), located on calle de l'Abat Escarré. To get there, veer slightly from the route before heading up the incline towards Santa Bàrbara.
EErmita de Santa Bàrbara, a group of buildings formed by the chapel of Santa Bàrbara (XII century), a house and a defensive tower (XVI century).
Pinya de Rosa Tropical Garden, with more than 7,000 different species.
Treumal and Santa Cristina coves.
Ermita de Santa Cristina, with a neoclassical altar.
